You are a researcher at the University of Konstanz, with a non‑tenured or a tenure‑track position, who wants to burst open new boundaries, think beyond and across disciplines, and investigate an exciting question in collaboration with colleagues across the world. You want to create a Zukunftskolleg Exchange Network: interdisciplinary Talent (ZENiT).

Responsibilities

• Investigate an exciting question in collaboration with international colleagues.
• Create and develop the ZENiT interdisciplinary talent network in Konstanz.
• Organise and participate in up to three short research stays over a period of up to three years. These stays may be symposia, group discussions, writing retreats, preparation for experiments, or coordination of group activities.
• Engage with the community during weekly Jour fixe meetings during the teaching term.

Qualifications

• Current researcher position at the University of Konstanz, either non‑tenured or tenure‑track.
• Strong interdisciplinary orientation and enthusiasm for collaborative research.
• Capacity to lead and coordinate a research group of up to five people.

• € 3,000 per year in research funds, with the possibility of additional funding upon application as decided annually by the Zukunftskolleg’s Executive Committee.
• Financial support for up to three research groups, covering costs for meetings and a research budget ranging from €10,000 to €100,000 over three years, within DFG funding rules.
