Overview
Zerto Channel Account Manager Middle East and Africa. This role is designed as hybrid, with an expectation to work on average 2-3 days per week from a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) office.

Job Description
As a Channel Account Manager and Cloud Account Executive, you will be part of the EMEA HPE Zerto team and become a trusted adviser to partners in the Middle East & Africa (primarily UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Africa, Egypt).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partners (VARs, Distributors, SIs, ISVs, MSPs) on where to play within emerging trends in the partner ecosystem, aligned with HPE Zerto business priorities. Work with the partner to create a mutually beneficial plan for the future.
- Drive end-to-end HPE Zerto revenue, profitability, and pipeline by creating joint business plans and leading data-driven sales efforts with the partner.
- Articulate HPE Zerto global and local business strategies to effectively sell with, to, and through the partner, creating a scalable selling ecosystem.
- Develop solid knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends, IT landscape, IT investment strategy, and HPE Zerto priorities; communicate the value of portfolios to differentiate HPE Zerto from competitors.
- Demonstrate sales leadership by building mutually beneficial relationships with one or more partners to grow HPE Zerto market share.
- Coordinate and execute HPE Zerto activities with the partner, leveraging specialists as needed, including sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client engagements. Drive HPE Zerto marketing strategy through the customer.
- Drive and implement HPE Zerto strategy, programs, and systems with and on behalf of the partner to accelerate financial outcomes and build partner loyalty to HPE.
- Tailor selling solutions to fit the partner's customer profile, including HPE Zerto products, services, and technology alliances to achieve quota.
- May recruit and develop relationships with new partners to increase commitment to HPE Zerto.
- May monitor partner sales floor to help develop pipeline.
- Ensure partners are aware of and compliant with HPE SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations.
Your Profile
Education and Experience
- University or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5+ years of selling experience.
- Solid experience in selling with partners.
Knowledge and Skills
- Technology Acumen: Solid awareness of current technology trends and HPE Zerto strategy; experience in Backup and Disaster Recovery market.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to influence partners to create value for HPE Zerto; strong selling skills and urgency in building relationships and delivering solutions.
- Account Management: Understanding of business and financial fundamentals to develop strategic partner plans aligned to customer and HPE strategies.
- Portfolio Knowledge: Understanding of HPE products and how they deliver value; focus on Storage, Data Protection, and aaS solutions.
- Partner Industry Acumen: Knowledge of partner types (Resellers, Distributors, MSPs) and industry trends.
- Partnering Acumen: Builds relationships with partners and internal teams to align sales engagement.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial statements and revenue projections to assess health and risks.
- Sales Forecasting: Ability to forecast partner needs and bridge gaps to quota.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication; negotiation skills; C-Level interaction.
- Time Management: Prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and Entrepreneurship: Willingness to innovate and advance HPE sales efforts.
- Presentation Skills: Proficient public speaking and ability to present effectively.

- Responsible for accounts with a high level of annual revenue and assigned quota.
