As a Video Editor at Vision Tact, you will have the opportunity to shape compelling narratives through video, enhancing our brand's presence and engagement across various platforms. Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging and visually appealing videos that align with our brand's style and messaging.
2. Storytelling: Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
3. Post-Production: Enhance videos with colour correction, sound design, music selection, and motion graphics, and subtitles to elevate their overall quality.
4. Content Optimization: Adapt and optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring they meet technical specifications and deliver optimal viewing experiences.
5. Creative Input: Provide creative insights and innovative ideas to enhance the visual impact of our videos.
6. Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring a smooth workflow.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet strategic goals.
8. Quality Control: Review and proofread videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
9. Staying Current: Stay updated with industry trends, video editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality of video content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Video Editing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of diverse video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Adobe After Effects and Canva or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality while working on tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members from different departments.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to bring fresh perspectives to video projects.
• A passion for video editing and a desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
