Overview

Vice President - Regulatory Reporting Expert (gn)

For our client, a leading global universal bank with its European headquarters in Frankfurt, we are currently looking for an Vice President - Regulatory Reporting Expert (gn) to strengthen the team .

Purpose of job

The role is focused on interpreting and operationalizing regulatory requirements at both national and European levels, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic and compliance objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, preparing business and data requirement documentation, and advising internal stakeholders on the impact of regulatory change.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and evaluation of regulatory requirements at both national and EU levels.
• Monitor regulatory developments, identify changes at an early stage, and formulate strategic proposals to support the bank in its decision-making.
• Advise internal departments and senior management on the impact of regulatory requirements on business models, processes, and products.
• Support implementation projects related to new or amended regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare business and data requirement documents to support regulatory implementation efforts.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of previous experience in a regulatory reporting or advisory role within a financial institution or consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field; professional certifications are considered a plus.
• Strong ability to understand and interpret complex concepts and explain them clearly and accurately.
• Working Proficiency in English is required, German is advantageous.
• Advanced analytical skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
