Your Role

• leading and managing the Business Development division. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (CEO) with the aim of expanding the global product portfolio in the strategic core indications
• analyzing, selecting and implementing new product opportunities (R&D, licensing, M&A and asset deals)
• development of the existing product portfolio
• excellent cross-functional collaboration
• preparing and conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts in line with the corporate strategy
• overseeing the project management for new products

Your Profile

• the ability to quickly understand and evaluate new products and markets
• relevant professional experience in the areas of BD, portfolio management, M&A, and R&D in the pharmaceutical industry
• a successfully completed degree in natural sciences or economics
• strategic foresight, great negotiating skills and an analytical mindset
• a positive, open-minded and assertive personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
• English/German language skills: at least C1-level (CEFR)
• willingness to travel
