At the heart of our success are our state-of-the-art separation systems. These systems ensure that satellites withstand the rigors of launch and are reliably deployed into orbit from the launch vehicle. Our engineering team is responsible for the testing, validation, and quality assurance of these critical systems, from production to deployment in space. We are looking for a Test Engineer - Mechanical Space Systems to join our team to develop and execute the tests we perform with our separation systems and with our satellite customers. Your role is based at our JFH - Engineering Office in Charlottenburg.
The ideal candidate for this role has a background in space technology, with experience in satellite launch, test engineering and mechanism design. You are an excellent communicator and team player and are passionate about being part of a dynamic team that is driving the satellite industry forward.
Location: This role is based in Berlin. Candidates must either currently reside in Berlin or be open to relocating.
The position requires flexibility for occasional travel, including short-notice trips. You should be comfortable with traveling approximately 10-15% of your work time or for extended periods of up to two weeks at a time, either to off-site test facilities, customer locations or to launch sites.
