Job Description
Position : Technical support Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Sales Support
- Work closely with the sales team to analyze customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions that drive sales success.
- Present and demonstrate technical solutions to customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
2. Solution Design and Optimization
- Develop and refine technical solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring they align with market trends and competitive landscape.
- Provide technical insights that enhance the value proposition of the company’s products.
3. Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Consultation
- Act as a technical advisor for customers, helping them understand product capabilities and how they meet business needs.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, RFQs, and presentations for customer discussions.
4. Product and Technology Feedback
- Gather customer feedback on product performance and suggest localized improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
- Work with the R&D and product teams to refine solutions based on market demands.
5. Technical Partnership Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local technical partners, distributors, and service providers to support business expansion.
Credential Requirements :
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Automation, or a related engineering field.
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or solution development.
- Experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Prior engagement with European clients is a plus.
3. Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, EMS architecture, and grid integration.
- Familiarity with power electronics, system simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD), and electricity market mechanisms (e.g., dynamic pricing, FCR bidding) is an advantage.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value for customers.
4. Sales & Communication Skills
- Excellent customer engagement and communication skills, capable of articulating technical solutions in a business context.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to independently craft and optimize technical proposals.
5. Language & Additional Requirements
- Fluency in German & English is required; proficiency in additional European languages (e.g., French, Italian) is a plus.
- Strong sense of technical ownership and a customer‑oriented mindset.
