The Position

We are a spin-off of RWTH Aachen University, which develops a special coating technology to enable recyclable plastic packaging for various applications. We are looking for a technical purchaser (m/f/d) to join us in building a company that will significantly advance the circular economy for plastics in Germany and the world.

Your Mission

• You are responsible for procuring goods and services for our demanding customers and research projects

• You continuously analyze relevant procurement markets and optimize the procurement situation

• You conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and service providers to expand our network

• You work with the Head of Operations to design framework conditions and negotiate advantageous framework agreements

• You play an active role in optimizing and further developing our purchasing processes to achieve maximum efficiency and quality

Your Profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or have completed an apprenticeship in business with an affinity for technology

• You have initial professional experience in purchasing, ideally in procuring technical goods

• You are characterized by technical understanding, decisiveness, and strong negotiating skills

• You are a strong communicator with a confident manner

• You are confident using MS Office applications, and ideally have experience using an ERP system

• You are business fluent in German and English
