Overview

Company Description

Our Group Consolidation & Processes Team supports the preparation of the AUTO1 Group’s IFRS consolidated financial statements. Our colleagues ensure the consistent treatment of accounting matters at group level, working closely with other finance departments within the organization.

As Team Lead Group Consolidation & Processes (f/m/d), you will lead our international team. In this role, you will combine your initiative and expertise to ensure accurate consolidated and interim financial statements for our pan-European business.

Responsibilities
  • Group Accounting & Consolidation

    Lead the preparation of monthly IFRS Group Consolidation and support quarterly, semi-annual, and annual consolidated financial statements.

  • Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all group entities.

  • Manage month-end closing processes and coordinate with local accounting teams.

  • Finance Process Integration

    Serve as primary liaison between Group Accounting and Systems teams for system enhancements and implementations.

  • Coordinate ERP system upgrades and ensure seamless integration with accounting processes.

  • Design and implement standardized processes between HQ and local accounting teams.

  • Data Quality & Automation Management

    Monitor and ensure data integrity across financial systems.

  • Implement real-time data quality checks and exception handling procedures.

  • Lead digitalization and automation initiatives within the accounting function.

  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

    Manage and develop an international team with clear performance objectives.

  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders including auditors.

  • Drive process standardization and best practice implementation across entities.

Qualifications
  • A degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or finance, and practical experience in an auditing firm or in an international company with a group structure.

  • At least three years of professional experience in an auditing or consulting firm or in group consolidation, as well as sound knowledge of accounting under IFRS and HGB.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initial experience managing an international team, and excellent communication skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills and ideally experience with Oracle and LucaNet.

  • Fluent command of both German and English is a must have!
