Then we are looking for you as a Structural Mechanic at our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder! In this role, you will work independently and precisely on mechanical components and contribute to the success of the team with your high level of concentration and quality orientation. The gross annual salary is around €40,500 to €42,600.

Job description

Tasks

• Manufacturing and assembling riveted joints and structural components based on drawings and specifications
• Producing parts according to current aerospace standards
• Preparing the workplace: reviewing drawings, setting up parts and tools, checking equipment
• Positioning and securing components
• Performing and documenting assembly work
• Applying surface protection, such as riveting head coating and sealing seams
• Working according to aviation quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a relevant field, e.g: Precision mechanic, aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, automotive mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, machine fitter, mechanic, mechatronics technician, metal worker, body builder, locksmith (building fitter / machine fitter), carpenter or in a metalworking profession
• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production as well as in structural assembly
• Proof of qualification in the field of structural mechanics must be available
• Proficient German (min. C1) and basic English language skills (min. B2)
• Willingness to work in 2 to 3 shifts
• A valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
