The Role

The platform is seeking a Chief of Staff to support senior leadership across strategic, operational, and investment-related initiatives. This is a highly exposed role at the centre of the organisation, combining analytical depth, execution responsibility, and cross-functional coordination.

The position is well suited to a high-calibre generalist with strong financial and strategic foundations, capable of structuring complex topics, driving initiatives independently, and operating effectively in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a close execution partner to senior leadership, supporting strategic, operational, and investment-related initiatives across the platform
• Structure complex topics and prepare decision-ready materials, including investment assessments, market analyses, and strategic evaluations across real assets and alternative strategies
• Support the oversight and development of the real assets portfolio, including asset management initiatives, project-level analysis, and transaction-related workstreams
• Contribute to the assessment and execution of direct investments and alternative strategies, coordinating inputs from external advisors and internal stakeholders
• Design, implement, and continuously refine internal governance, reporting, and controlling frameworks to enhance transparency and scalability
• Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning finance, operations, legal, and external counterparties, ensuring alignment and timely execution
• Take ownership of selected projects from initial structuring through implementation, managing complexity and maintaining execution momentum
• Support the build-out of institutional-grade processes and standards while retaining flexibility appropriate for an actively managed investment platform

Candidate Profile

• University degree in finance, business administration, economics, management, or a related discipline
• 3–6 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or a comparable environment
• Strong analytical skill set with demonstrated experience in financial analysis, business case development, and structured problem-solving
• Commercially minded, with a solid understanding of capital allocation, investment decision-making, and value creation in private markets
• Ability to operate effectively in an evolving, high-responsibility environment with limited formal structure
• Strong organisational skills combined with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset
• Clear and concise communicator, comfortable preparing materials for senior decision-makers
• High level of discretion, judgement, and professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
