This role is not about operational purchasing alone, but about shaping the long-term sourcing strategy for facility-related services (building operations, maintenance, cleaning, catering, security, energy, waste management, and real estate services). The successful candidate will play a key part in supplier selection, contract optimisation, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring that the company’s sites in Germany run efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for facility management services across German sites
• Lead tender processes, supplier negotiations, and long-term contract management
• Manage service providers in areas such as building operations, cleaning, catering, security, and waste/energy services
• Align with technical departments, real estate management, and corporate functions on requirements and budgets
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability
• Support procurement transformation projects, including digitalisation and ESG initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic procurement or category management, ideally within facility management, real estate services, or industrial groups
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills
• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or related discipline
• Fluent German and good command of English
• Analytical, structured mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
