A leading space technology company in Bremen is seeking a Spacecraft Database Engineer to develop and maintain software for satellite operations. You will be responsible for managing the satellite reference database, improving data entry applications using Oracle, Java, and MS Excel, and ensuring seamless data exchange with internal and external stakeholders. To operate our satellites, a lot of information is needed on the ground (e.g. how to command the satellites or how to interpret the data coming from the satellite during integration & flight). The database team develops and maintains the satellite reference database (SRDB) and manages its data. Developing the foundation for storing and defining data structures to operate our satellites is the key item of our daily work. We define interfaces between internal and external stakeholders and establish processes for automatic data exchange. Be part of our team building fascinating satellites and help us to develop software defining telemetry and telecommand data.
