As a Software Engineer Java/C++, you will be responsible for the continued development and design of our own products. In our team in Gelsenkirchen, you will develop new architectural proposals. You will document them with the help of suitable tools and implement them on schedule in accordance with the development specifications. The high security requirements of our product always determine your thoughts and actions. You will advise our customers on the use of our products and support them in the process of installation and the creation of operating concepts.

Your profile

A (technical) apprenticeship or degree, e.g. in computer science, business informatics or mathematics, is an advantage, but is not a requirement. Alternatively, you have some experience in modern software development or consider this to be your passion. You have knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Practical experience in programming with Java and/or C++
• Experience in the development of embedded systems
• Experience in the field of software architecture using UML
• Technical and organizational understanding in the field of IT security
• Willingness to work independently, autonomously and continuously improve your skills and qualifications
• Understanding of complex processes
• Strong communicative skills and ability to work in a team
