As a Senior Software Engineer - SRE (Elixir), your mission is to support the smooth and efficient operation of our Event Inc Platform(s), focusing on scalability, observability, and resilience.

Your role

1. Collaborate in managing and optimizing legacy products and infrastructure as they transition into the new platform
2. Work alongside highly motivated team members to ensure high uptime for the EventInc Platform, reducing service interruptions
3. Assist in establishing effective monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms, ensuring swift identification and rectification of discrepancies
4. Support initiatives aimed at automating repetitive business tasks to drive efficiency across departments
5. Contribute to developing tools that streamline deployment, facilitate collaboration, and simplify environment setups
6. Work with other SREs to maintain and enhance legacy products and infrastructure, ensuring secure and effective operation until integration into the new platform
7. Be comfortable working with various tech stacks such as Elixir / Phoenix, Ruby / Rails, NodeJS / NextJS, or Go for quick fixes
8. Administer traditional Linux webservers and use bash scripts when necessary, beyond just clicking buttons on cloud UIs
