• A completed master’s degree from a well-known university or an MBA/PhD.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with management consultancy or in IT consultancy.
• Functional know-how in procurement systems, with knowledge of IT architectures.
• Fluency in English, German, and potentially another language.

You have extensive experience from consulting projects in procurement and you are ready to take the next step in your career? You enjoy working with the clients to re-design processes and to drive substantial improvements in Procurement processes? You want to take responsibility to guide our clients through the selection of a state-of-the-art IT solution in Procurement? Then we have just the right position for you:

(SENIOR) PROJECT MANAGER DIGITALIZATION PROCUREMENT

at any time, permanent contract, during the week often on site with our customers, on Friday typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne or Hamburg

Your mission

• You are responsible for the implementation of consulting projects on site at our international and national customers
• There you will deal with the development of Target Operating Models for procurement, the selection of suitable system platforms and the design of harmonizing processes
• You want to think outside the box and work on technical projects in procurement or related areas (e.g. SCM)
• In your role you are also responsible for the development of our analysts and consultants on the projects and you lead your respective consultant team

Your profile

• A completed master’s degree from a well-known university or even better: an MBA or PhD
• At least 5 years of professional experience with another management consultancy or in the consulting area of an IT consultancy
• Functional know-how in procurement paired with a deep understanding of procurement systems and possible extensions from an end-to-end perspective, IT-Architectures, system and process know-how, ideally supplemented by experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, etc.
• You are fluent in English, German and perhaps speak one other foreign language as well
• In addition to your analytical and systems-oriented way of thinking and working, you should also have a good feel for situations and people
