Your tasks

• In your position in Central Commercial Management, you will be responsible for controlling tasks such as information, planning, management, control and coordination for certain key projects. You will work together with the local operating units to support international plant construction projects in the processing of customer orders.
• You will be responsible for developing and implementing a global strategy for project controlling in order to establish uniform standards and processes to maintain budget and forecast stability.
• As well as creating an active global project controlling identity as part of the commercial execution team.
• You will be responsible for the selection, further development and introduction of suitable tools and systems to support the existing global project controlling standards.
• You will ensure the quality, consistency and transparency of project controlling worldwide.
• You will be responsible for leading change management initiatives to promote the acceptance and use of new processes and systems.
• You will also be responsible for setting up a training program to educate project controllers worldwide on new standards and procedures.
• You will monitor and evaluate project risks and opportunities for individual projects and prepare scenario analyses.
• You will also be responsible for ensuring transparent project accounting in all regions.

Your profile

• You have completed your studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a similar field with a focus on controlling or finance with above-average results.
• You have already gained at least 10 years of professional experience in project controlling in an industrial company, ideally in large-scale plant construction.
• Your authentic and assertive personality is complemented by your strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
• You have a high affinity for international issues, strong intercultural skills and a willingness to travel.
• We require a very good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
• You also have knowledge and experience in IFRS accounting.
• Confident handling of the usual MS Office applications as well as SAP and BI knowledge round off your profile.

This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations (outside of Germany). The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based.
