An organization focused on digital education in Berlin seeks a Senior Program Manager to manage the 'Skill IT up' project aimed at supporting refugees and migrants in building careers in IT. This part-time role offers 32 hours per week, with a salary range of 42,000€ - 48,000€ gross yearly, and a fixed-term position until December 31, 2028. Candidates should have strong project management skills, proficiency in German and English, and experience in digital education programs.
In this role, you take responsibility for managing and delivering Kiron’s contribution to the “Skill IT up” project within the ESF-funded program “IQ – Integration durch Qualifizierung”. You coordinate the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a digital qualification program while working closely with consortium partners, learners, and employers.
Together with a consortium of partner organizations Kiron is contributing to the ESF funded program “IQ - Integration durch Qualifizierung” with the focus project “Skill IT up.” With this we are paving the way for people with refugee and migration backgrounds to build lasting careers in the IT sector. Through hands-on, digital training, we empower participants with in-demand skills in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and software development—opening doors to real opportunities in one of today’s most dynamic fields. We’re now looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead this work on our side.
Act as the leading program manager on Kiron’s side to ensure successful delivery of our program components by coordinating the design, development, testing, and ongoing refinement of a digital qualification program.
Coordinate project administration for our part of the program, incl. reporting, documentation, quality assurance, and communication and coordination with consortium partners.
Work closely with the relevant internal and external stakeholders coordinating deliverables and deadlines
Prepare the scaling, transfer, and long-term sustainability of the program in collaboration with external partners.
Coordinate the technical and didactic development of course offerings, incl. learning platform setup, curriculum development, and building the accompanying coaching and mentoring structures.
Recruit learners by designing digital marketing tools to reach target groups through online campaigns as well as outreach within community networks and with company partners.
Ensuring participants achieve targeted completion and employment outcomes by managing key support structures such as intensive tutoring, community-building activities, incentives, coaching/mentoring offers, and partnerships with companies.
Provide close learner support throughout the program with continuous evaluation and quality assurance.
Support learners in their labour market integration, e.g. through developing counseling or networking opportunities with potential employers.
Required Skills:
You haveexcellent communicationandinterpersonal skillsto build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
You are proficient in German and English, both at CEFR level C1+.
You are familiar with the socio-political landscape in Germany and migrant/refugee-related topics.
Required Experience:
Experienced in project management, milestone tracking & reporting with different stakeholders
Experience around digital education/career programs ideally with a special focus on refugees/migrants
Experience in the EdTech sector with online learning platforms and hybrid program delivery models
What makes you stand out:
Previous experience in talent development and upskilling projects would be an advantage
Basic understanding of monitoring & evaluation practices
Fundamental IT skills and experience in how IT teams work would be a plus
This is a part-time role with 32h capacity per week
The range foreseen for this role is between 42.000€ - 48.000€ gross yearly.
This is a fixed-term position, limited to the duration of the project (until 31. December 2028).
