Overview

SAP LeanIX is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the SAP Reference Content domain. In this strategic role you will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, a UX designer, an engineering manager, as well as internal RISE Enterprise Architects to deliver innovative solutions that help our customers plan their SAP transformations – directly within SAP LeanIX.

By integrating SAP Reference Content into SAP LeanIX, your work will empower CIOs and enterprise architects to make informed decisions and accelerate transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ownership & Vision: Lead the product vision and roadmap for SAP Reference Content, collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to align with SAP LeanIX’s strategic objectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal RISE Enterprise Architects to understand challenges, translate needs into actionable insights, and ensure our product delivers measurable value.
• Product Discovery: Drive product discovery processes, conduct market research, analyze customer feedback, and collaborate with the UX team to design intuitive and impactful solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, the SAP global content group, analytics, UX, legal, and compliance teams to ensure secure, ethical, and scalable product development.
• Strategic Influence: Engage with product marketing and sales to position the product effectively, differentiate it in the market, and communicate its unique value proposition.
• Team Empowerment: Act as a catalyst for the team’s success, managing the backlog, setting priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Product Management Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Ability to navigate technical models: Comfortable working with Reference Content Models that support SAP RISE transformations and capable of connecting them to the LeanIX metamodel as well as our customers’ transformation journey. SAP RISE know-how is a plus but not mandatory.
• Enterprise Architecture Acumen: Familiarity with enterprise architecture or IT landscape transformation is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to engage deeply with customers, understand their pain points, and translate them into innovative solutions.
• Technical and UX Fluency: Comfortable collaborating with UX and engineering teams to move from a prototype towards a sound technical concept that addresses customers’ problems.
• Agile Practitioner: Proficiency in working within agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinker: Strong skills in analytics, market research, and competitive positioning.
• Fluent Communication: Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
