Senior Network Manager (Supports PSEP) – Wiesbaden, Germany
The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Sr. Network Manager (Supports PSEP) to support our Program in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze system functions and failures to isolate and define problem areas.
- Install, configure, integrate and maintain automation systems.
- Monitor the reachability of all connections within the network adhering to circuit restoral priorities and initiate troubleshooting to restore full network capability.
- Monitor system performance, track usage, and develop and deliver a trend analysis of system load, usage and response.
- Analyze user traffic flow and recommend actions to assign users that communicate primarily with one group to the same router to reduce backbone traffic.
- Manage a router‑based network consisting of three electrically and physically separate subnets.
- Manage IP addresses for numerous sites and adjust routing protocols to ensure optimum performance.
- Provide on‑site and telephonic technical services necessary to insulate the network operation and optimization.
- Perform diagnostic analysis, identify faulty devices, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and prepare documentation detailing actions taken.
- Maintain a system configuration database documenting all modifications to software or hardware.
- Analyze and prepare reports recommending additional network enhancements as needed.
- Support US Army systems on site whenever deployed, be available to deploy to other countries or theaters for quick‑reaction technical support to US forces worldwide.
- Provide individual and leadership activities to ensure shift and network operate at peak efficiency.
- Able to perform duties to ensure timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM or other customers/affiliates.
Qualifications:
- Current U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent, with at least twelve months training and seven years demonstrated experience in network management and system administration.
- Able to pass required certifications/clearance requirements for working on a DoD network.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of digital routers, bridging functions, communication servers, Ethernets, network protocols (TCP/IP), patch panels, Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, IP addressing and subnetting, system security procedures, and Government networks including DSNET 1 and DSNET 3.
- Expert level knowledge of network interface functions and capabilities and proper configuration of routers.
- Expert level knowledge of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) functions and capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco and other routers in multi‑protocol inter‑networks (DoD government networks) in a global WAN environment with centralized network control.
- Ability to liaise with local, deployed, and CONUS engineering departments and DoD work centers to maintain immediate response to critical requirements.

Pay Range
USD 99,300 – 208,600
