A financial recruitment agency is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to support a well-established financial institution in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fund accounting within financial services. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and liaising with clients and auditors. Proficiency in English and French is required, along with experience in accounting principles like Lux Gaap and IFRS. This role is onsite in Luxembourg and is initially for a contract period of 3 to 6 months.

Kepler Search is currently supporting a well established financial institution in Luxembourg who are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to support them working within their PE / RE department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the bookkeeping and calculation of the NAV's.
• Participate in the calculation and recording of fees.
• Ensure the accurate maintenance of accounting records for Luxembourg investment funds.
• Prepare the financial statements for files such as balance sheets and Cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with clients, tax authorities and auditors.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and analyse the activities.

Skills needed

• English and French professionally speaking.
• 5 years minimum experience working as a Fund Accountant within the financial services in Luxembourg.
• Experience with accounting principles Lux Gaap and IFRS.
• Minimum 3 years working on alternative investment funds such as Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt.
