Senior Clinical Sales Director Central Europe

(Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czechia/Slovakia, Hungary and Eastern Europe distributions countries)

What you need to do in order to be successful?
  • You will lead the sales organization in the assigned geographic scope: energize, motivate, develop and encourage your team to aim high
  • You will drive and execute the company commercial strategy to achieve sales, revenue & profit targets and lead the development of strategic lines across market segments
  • You will work in very close collaboration with the Marketing Manager to put in place the most assertive business plan, leading Central Europe to become an amazing growth engine
  • You will play a key role in the Central Europe Leadership team to achieve together ambitious objectives.
  • You will lead the annual sales budget process by setting SMART objectives for your team
  • You will help us to find a pathway to go beyond our goals
Who we are looking for?
Your background:
  • Higher education degree in science (ideally Medical or Biology)
  • Perfectly a degree in business management (Management, Sales, Marketing)
  • More than 5 years of senior commercial management experience in the clinical diagnostic / healthcare market with a proven track record
  • International experience and ability to manage remote teams
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Self-starter, optimistic with a growth mindset
  • Excellent business acumen and very strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills: develop and energize sales organization to maintain high level of motivation and engagement
  • Ability to build long term strategy and translate it into actions
  • Extremely strong negotiation & communication skills

Language:

  • Fluent in German and English, any additional language would be a plus.

Travel Time: ~50%

Primary Location: Germany

Specific role responsibilities:

  • Accountable for sales strategy, sales teams/processes and achieving sales revenue & profitability targets across all sales channels including:
    • Direct Field (Face-to-Face) Sales
    • Indirect Field (Channel/Partner/Distributor) Sales
    • Account Management
    • Sales Training
    • Sales Operations/Administration
  • Directs more than one team; determines team structure and roles of members
  • Interacts with executive leadership concerning matters of significance to the organization
  • Responsible for strategy execution and operational direction of a business function or a part of a function within CEC. Supports strategy development for their functional area.
  • Broad management experience across several functional areas or businesses, or concentrated knowledge of a particular discipline; considered the organization's expert within a particular discipline
