We’re seeking a dynamic (Senior) Business Development Manager (m/f/d)for our evolving luxury fashion division at our Hamburg headquarters. In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your strategic acumen, market analysis expertise, and persuasive skills to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in business development, profound luxury industry knowledge, and a passion for innovative market strategies.


Your Profile
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of business development
  • Results and process driven as a business development manager, ideally within an online B2B, fashion or accessories business
  • An existing luxury industry network is desirable
  • Highly organized and able to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves in a scale-up atmosphere
  • Be prepared for occasional travel to meet with clients & suppliers attend industry events, and explore business opportunities
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills

Your Mission
  • You determine and evaluate opportunities for entering new markets or expanding existing ones, developing entry strategies that align with the company's premium positioning
  • You identify and acquire new potential prospects to expand our supplier and client base
  • You set up first calls/meetings with new prospects to evaluate potentials
  • You are responsible for all relevant coordinative tasks related to the onboarding of potential prospects
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, buying, logistics, and finance to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business development for our luxury category
  • You gather and incorporate customer feedback into business strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with partner expectations
  • You conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new business opportunities
  • You coordinate with operations leaders to create specific solutions for potential partners
  • You act as a brand ambassador for Buying Labs, demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the company's vision and drive enthusiasm for the organization's work
