Senior Benefits Expert (all genders)

As a Senior Benefits Expert (all genders) in Bayer’s innovative Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) environment, you will play a pivotal role in empowering teams by providing global expertise and governance on Employee Benefits. You will ensure that solutions are co‑created and aligned with our inspiring mission to deliver Health for all, Hunger for none. In this role, you will design and implement cutting‑edge benefit solutions and technologies, collaborating closely across diverse functions and cultures. Your contributions will be central to enabling transparent, effective communication and fostering a vibrant culture of shared ownership and accountability.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering global benefits expertise and guidance to the Bayer HR Community within a collaborative, peer‑accountable DSO network
  • Design and build innovative benefit plans & solutions that address both business and employee needs, focusing on agility and impactful outcomes
  • Establish and govern actionable benefits procedures and frameworks that support our mission‑driven objectives
  • Lead and sponsor projects aimed at continuous improvement and simplification, driving positive change
  • Communicate benefits trends, initiatives, and projects clearly and inclusively to all relevant communities and stakeholder groups, enhancing transparency and engagement
  • Manage relationships with global benefits vendors and partners, ensuring value creation and alignment with DSO principles
  • Monitor and evolve benefit portfolios, responding proactively to changing needs and meaningful KPIs
  • Partner with the Head of Benefits to anticipate business needs and market trends, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships fostering connection and collaboration across the organization
WHO YOU ARE
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive Benefits and Total Rewards experience, with a proven track record in employee benefits and project/change management
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and complexity in a global, multicultural environment
  • Demonstrate strong collaborative skills: connecting, co‑creating, inspiring, and engaging others within a DSO context
  • Excellent stakeholder management and strategic planning abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills: able to convey complex information clearly, foster understanding, and build trust across diverse audiences
  • Analytical and data‑driven mindset, with a passion for leveraging insights to drive decisions
  • Strong digital literacy and a forward‑thinking mindset
  • Proficiency in English language skills
