A leading digital banking platform in Berlin is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle from inception to launch. You will work closely with design and tech teams, ensure high-quality standards, and mentor juniors while collaborating on architecture and integration. We are seeking a highly accomplished and collaborative Senior Backend Engineer to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you can think of yourself as a Product Engineer, dedicated to the entire feature lifecycle, from conception to launch.
This team’s core mission is to empower new N26 users with intuitive tools and personalized support, ensuring they feel confident and valued from day one.
This role is ideal for an engineer who excels technically but also possesses strong soft skills for stakeholder engagement. You will be a vital contributor, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and UX/UI Designers to translate user needs into seamless and scalable backend systems, directly impacting the foundational experience of every new N26 customer.
This is a hybrid role based in Berlin or Barcelona.
