Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to support the Dedrone Finance team in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue and will be required to perform a variety of tasks as part of the Month-end close process, playing a critical role in stabilizing the function while supporting the global consolidation and financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
  • Perform the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB.
  • Support standard cost accounting process including accounting and analysis of typical variances, e.g., on material, labour, overheads.
  • Coordinate and support income tax returns, file VAT returns, execute transfer pricing policy according to global guidance.
  • Conduct actual vs. budget analysis, prepare flux and month-end commentary, cash planning, and working capital management.
  • Generate and post accounts receivable invoices in accordance with revenue recognition under ASC606/IFRS 15.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with international teams, e.g., sales, corporate accounting, and tax.
  • Support intercompany accounting and settlement process according to global guidance.
  • Be a key contact for tax auditors, tax advisors, and internal/external auditors on relevant topics.
Project and Controls:
  • Support post-merger integration of Axon subsidiaries; support harmonization of ERP systems, chart of accounts, processes, and tools.
  • Participate in (sub-)projects or lead sub-projects to optimize accounting activities and the implementation of internal (SOX) controls.
  • Perform and document month-end close controls, e.g., around balance sheet reconciliation and manual journal entries.
  • Develop into a functional expert in Accounting on ERP (NetSuite/Salesforce) related topics.
Who You Are:
  • Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a related finance field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB.
  • Experience in post-merger integration, entity restructuring, and ERP projects (Microsoft D365 and NetSuite) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with international revenue recognition guidelines and multiple deliverable contracts.
  • Business fluent in English and German; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and ambiguity constructively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in internal controls and process optimization.
