As a Senior Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading client relationships, overseeing strategic project delivery, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution of global and digital campaigns, mentoring teams, and fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in healthcare communications, financial management, and innovative thinking will be key to maintaining and expanding agency success.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
  • Set the overall strategic direction for client accounts. Align agency priorities with client business objectives, considering long-term impact. Seen as a strategic partner by clients. Empower and inspire teams to achieve great work.
  • Lead account growth by identifying new opportunities and enhancing service delivery.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, objectives, and market dynamics.
Committed to Client Always
  • Is an ambassador for the agency. Fluent in understanding client needs, beliefs, and attitudes and adapting accordingly. Consistency drives client success and makes clients look good.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that drive measurable business impact.
  • Own client and job forecasting and tracking, demonstrating accountability and precision. Fluent in client financial management systems and MSAs. Make informed decisions based on data and SOPs.
  • Ensure teams adhere to sound financial processes.
  • Direct large-scale campaigns with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ensure teams are aligned with project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Act as a mentor for junior team members and support senior leadership.
  • Drive the integration of digital solutions and emerging technologies into client projects.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the digital landscape and its applications in advertising.
  • Champion cross-departmental innovation, sharing learnings and setting new standards.
Compliance & Industry Knowledge
  • Ensure all teams adhere to industry regulations, including the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Stay informed of best practices in healthcare advertising and regulatory frameworks.
  • Cross-fertilize knowledge across teams.
