Job description / Tasks:

• conduct 3D-CFD simulations, including ICE, in-cylinder, and air path-flow simulation
• Simulation of non-reactive and reactive flow
• Combustion modelling of hydrogen and other sustainable fuels
• Collaboration with universities and other leading external research institutions to drive state‑of‑the‑art development and innovation
• Strong emphasis on personal responsibility and self‑directed work

The successful candidate will:

• hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
• have significant experience in CFD simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development
• be proficient in Star CCM+, CONVERGE, and GTPower
• have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e‑fuels and hydrogen
• possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python (advantageous)
• be able to speak and write professional English
• show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture
• be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self‑organized manner
