To strengthen our Plywood sales team in Hamburg, we are looking for a Sales Manager (m / f / d) for the German and Austrian markets. You will be responsible for developing existing and new accounts, providing technical support, and conducting operative sales.

What you will do

  • Manage a structured sales approach to designated accounts together with the Area Sales Director
  • Implement a commercial sales strategy
  • Conduct operative sales and after-sales activities
  • Provide technical support for different end-use applications
  • Pricing and profitability control

Analysis and sales planning

  • Participate in the creation, implementation, and follow-up of business and customer plans

Who you are

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as wood science and technology, marketing, business administration, or an equivalent professional qualification
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in plywood business and/or construction and wood products distribution business
  • You are experienced in B2B sales work
  • You can build strong relationships with customers, and you have excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
  • You have a proven track record in sales
  • You have broad commercial understanding and sales process knowledge
  • You are self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • You have good language skills in German and English
