Jobbeschreibung

ADM has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Manager to drive our animal nutrition business in the DACH countries. In a large local market, this is a key role aimed at maintaining and significantly growing our footprint by offering a broad range of products, including Feed Additives, ingredients, and Premix. The role is based in Germany and reports to the VP Sales Europe in Switzerland.

Main duties of this role include:

  • Unlock and maximize the potential of our animal nutrition business in the DACH region.
  • Manage technical sales of our Animal Nutrition products, including Key Accounts.
  • Establish and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.
  • Understand our product portfolio.
  • Create and execute sales plans and budgets based on market strategies.
  • Develop a 3-5 year Business Plan for the region.
  • Provide monthly sales reports, analytics, and insights; understand go-to-market strategies to maximize sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product management, application, and product development to develop customer concepts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer behaviors through publications, events, and reports to grow the business strategically.
  • Support and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies for the region.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as technical support, customer service, logistics, product management, marketing, and controlling.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agriculture, Agro Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Business.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B food, dairy, or ingredients industries.
  • Strong organizational and autonomous working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a (virtual) team environment.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and resilience under pressure.
  • Experience in a matrix, cross-cultural organization.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
