Your Responsibilities:
  • Processing customer enquiries and preparing quotations for our optronic systems for OEMs, primarily in the D-A-CH region
  • Competent presentation and negotiation of quotations
  • Solution-oriented support from development at the customer\'s premises to the conclusion of the contract
  • Independently analysing customer requirements and collaborating on the implementation of customer-specific projects
  • Independently establishing and maintaining business relationships through regular customer contact
  • Successfully implementing the sales strategy
  • Further developing the market in operational and strategic terms
  • Collaborating in a motivated interdisciplinary project team within the Defence Land business unit
Your Profile:
  • Successfully completed technical degree
  • Confident manner and excellent communication skills
  • Several years of professional experience in sales or many years of experience in internal sales with ambitions for external sales would be an advantage
  • High level of customer focus
  • Solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
  • High level of commitment, initiative and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is essential
  • Must: Relevant and up-to-date network in the European defence sector, especially with vehicle manufacturers
  • Knowledge of project/programme business, e.g. for DVE systems, is an advantage
  • Experience in sales via external sales partners (agents & distributors) is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Experience in dealing with public clients is an advantage
