You bring deep industry knowledge of the healthcare sector (ideally in software) a clear understanding of competitive products and current trends and the ability to lead strategic customer planning to optimize returns and generate sustainable long-term revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively present InterSystems HealthShare solutions and the InterSystems IRIS for Health data platform to all relevant audiences and stakeholders in the DACH healthcare sector (including hospitals software vendors health networks ministries etc.).
  • Identify and develop new customers while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and the relevance of InterSystems technologies within customers IT infrastructure or partners development portfolios.
  • Regularly meet with customers and prospects including the development of strategic account plans.
  • Sustain and grow networks with key decision-makers in the industry.
Experience and Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in software sales is an advantage
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and well-known partner accounts in the healthcare sector
  • Existing network of decision-makers in healthcare institutions (hospitals health insurers health networks) and with industry-specific software vendors
  • Background in the software industry ideally in solution selling involving databases middleware data analytics or interoperability platforms
  • A hunter profile focused on acquiring new customers through partners with the ability to maintain customer interest throughout the sales cycle
  • Strong communication and presentation skills plus excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of IoT and machine learning is a plus
Education
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
