Leon Cycle was founded in Germany in 2014 and has developed into an international e‑mobility company with operations across Europe, North America, and Australia.

We design, manufacture, and sell electric bicycles primarily through professional dealer networks and B2B partners. Our core brand, NCM, offers a broad portfolio of e‑bikes—including urban, trekking, mountain, and folding models—serving both commuter and recreational markets.

Role Overview

Leon Cycle is seeking a Sales Director, DACH (B2B) to lead and rebuild our dealer and key account business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This role is fully responsible for B2B sales strategy, dealer network performance, key account management, and regional sales team leadership. The Sales Director will work closely with London HQ and local operations to drive sustainable growth, improve sales discipline, and strengthen long‑term partner relationships across the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive B2B sales performance across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with clear revenue and margin targets
  • Lead, structure, and manage the DACH B2B sales organization, including regional sales managers and key account managers
  • Build, optimize, and clean up the dealer network, including dealer onboarding, classification, performance review, and exit decisions
  • Personally manage and develop strategic key accounts and large dealer groups
  • Define and execute regional B2B sales strategies, pricing frameworks, and commercial terms in alignment with London HQ
  • Closely monitor order intake, forecasting, sell‑in performance, stock levels, and payment behaviour of dealers
  • Work cross‑functionally with operations, logistics, after‑sales, and finance to ensure reliable delivery and partner satisfaction
  • Establish clear sales KPIs, reporting structures, and accountability mechanisms for the region
  • Provide structured market and competitor feedback to London HQ, including product requirements and channel risks
  • Represent Leon Cycle at industry trade fairs, dealer events, and key partner meetings within the DACH region
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of senior B2B sales experience, ideally within bicycles, e‑mobility, consumer durables, or technical products
  • Proven track record in dealer network development and key account management
  • Strong experience negotiating commercial terms, pricing, credit limits, and long‑term supply agreements
  • Hands‑on sales leader with strong execution skills and high commercial discipline
  • High sense of ownership and accountability; comfortable making tough commercial decisions
  • Experience operating in structured, target‑driven B2B sales environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across different cultures
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
