Overview
ilert is an AI-first incident management software company helping companies respond to incidents faster and increase the availability of digital services. Our mission is to keep the world running at all times. We’ve done the hardest part already: built something people love. Now it’s time to take this to the next level and that’s where you come in.
Why this role matters
We’re looking for a curious, ambitious junior marketer who’s eager to learn and ready to make an impact across many areas of marketing. This isn’t about ticking boxes, it’s about rolling up your sleeves, experimenting, and helping us spread ilert’s story to a global audience. You’ll touch content, campaigns, events, and partnerships, gaining broad experience in a high-growth SaaS environment. Fresh graduates are welcome, drive and curiosity matter more than years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Content & campaigns: support the creation of blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and landing pages.
- Performance marketing support: assist in managing and optimizing paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.), from keyword research to creative testing and reporting.
- Partner & product support: assist in creating marketing assets for partners, new product features, and customer stories.
- Events & visibility: help with event research, applications for speaking opportunities, and logistics around conferences and webinars.
- Market research: dig into competitors, industry trends, and audience insights to inform marketing strategy.
- Cross-team collaboration: work closely with content marketing, partner marketing, and leadership to support projects big and small.
Requirements
- Ambitious and curious: you’re excited about learning the pillars of SaaS marketing and aren’t afraid to try, fail, and try again.
- A natural communicator: you enjoy writing and storytelling, whether for a blog, an ad copy, or an event application.
- Tech-curious: you don’t need to be an engineer, but you’re interested in AI, DevOps, or SaaS and willing to dive into technical concepts.
- Detail-oriented: you can juggle multiple tasks and still keep an eye on quality.
- Dedicated: you bring energy and persistence, knowing that marketing success often comes from iteration and consistency.
- Bonus points if you have skills in design (Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite) or video creation/editing for social media and campaigns.
Benefits
- Learn fast: you’ll work directly with experienced marketers and founders who’ll mentor you while giving you space to grow.
- Do real work: your projects won’t sit in a drawer; you’ll see your impact live in campaigns, ads, and customer stories.
- Lean and bold culture: join a close-knit team that values open communication, mutual support, and shared goals.
- 28 days of paid vacation.
- Hybrid work environment: enjoy the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely.
- Regular team events.
- A beautiful office in the "Rheinauhafen" area in the heart of Cologne.
You’re still reading because you want a career kickstart that’s more than “just a junior job.” You want to learn, experiment, and grow into a well-rounded SaaS marketer. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
