Position Overview

ROMILDAMOR Foundation is a Human Rights NGO that supports Survivors of Human Trafficking and Gender Based Violence with legal and holistic assistance to facilitate their safe reintegration into society. Our mission is to demonstrate Love in Action by transforming exploited survivors into empowered women.

We are seeking a retired Housing Solicitor to provide guidance and supervision to the Legal Support department.

Role Description

The Legal Support department assists Survivors of Human Trafficking and GBV in sourcing external legal representatives. We collaborate with lawyers to prepare case files, draft witness statements, gather evidence, and monitor case progress.

Supervisory Lawyers will meet weekly with Legal Assistants to provide guidance on sourcing representation and preparing clients' housing cases.

Role Duration

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: Initially 12 months, with potential for extension after review.

About You

Qualified Solicitor with over 2 years PQE in UK Housing Law, Management, & Legal Advisory experience.

The volunteer will be required to attend weekly clinic appointments on Wednesdays at 6 pm – remotely.
