A Research Institution in Hamburg is seeking a full-time Research Associate to work on the 'Tamilex' project involving critical edition and translation. Candidates should have a relevant university degree, a strong understanding of Tamil texts, and be fluent in English. The position offers flexible hours and a supportive academic environment. Your responsibilities include duties in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications. Work in the academy project “Tamilex”: Corpus construction and indexing Pattuppāṭṭu: critical edition and annotated translation of Mullaippāṭṭu, Neṭunalvāṭai and Perum-pāṇāṟṟuppaṭai, segmentation and lexicographical indexing of Nacciṉārkkiṉiyar's commentary.
