Consultant for IT (m / f / d)

full‑time. The position is open‑ended.

The scope of duties includes:

• Ensuring trouble‑free operation of the networks and support of our infrastructure, i.e. monitoring the availability, maintenance and administration of client / server and network components
• User support : contact person for employees in the specialist departments and facilities
• Analysis and rectification of faults in the network as well as in the server infrastructure and clients
• Documentation of networks, equipment and processes
• Planning, implementation and verification of regular data backups, taking into account the applicable data protection regulations
• Procurement of IT equipment and involvement in medium and long‑term investment planning
• Planning and, if necessary, conducting training courses
• User administration in Active Directory and M365
• Use and further development of AI‑supported tools for the automation of IT processes
• Support for forward‑looking IT projects at association level and their implementation

Your profile:

• Successfully completed vocational training, ideally as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the aforementioned field of work would be desirable
• Knowledge of Windows / Linux servers, network technology (DNS, DHCP, VLANs), scripting (PowerShell, Bash), firewalls including site connections (VPN) and security solutions
• Independent and solution‑oriented way of working
• good comprehension, strong organizational skills, high degree of flexibility and ability to work in a team
• A cool head even in hectic situations, reliability and loyalty
