What You Can Expect:

  • Manage incoming 4PL tenders and inquiries. Analyze requirements and shipment structure to assess the customer's fit with Rhenus 4PL service portfolio and strategy.
  • Prepare and conduct customer meetings and workshops to analyze requirements and the status quo of the supply chain. Present Rhenus 4PL capabilities and concepts to both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Develop customized logistics concepts, price calculations, detailed proposals, and contract documents in close cooperation with Controlling, Legal, IT und Senior Management.
  • Manage customer implementation projects in close contact with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the project's requirements and progress, that the necessary services and resources are provided, and that all project phases are executed seamlessly.
  • Support Operational Account Management in post-implementation hyper care phase as well as in continuous improvement projects.


What You Bring:

  • BA/BS degree in a Business/Logistics/Engineering or equivalent
  • Min. 2-5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in the field of 4PL, control tower and/or freight forwarding with a variety of complex operational and commercial challenges.
  • Excellent project management skills are essential, ideally in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards is required to support the integration and automation of customer solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must, proficiency in German is preferred, other languages are a plus
  • Customer focused mindset - able to anticipate and identify customers' needs and expectations
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and hierarchy levels
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, demonstrating high degree of ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and (re-)prioritize in an intense, fast-paced, high-energy, environment
  • Willingness to travel - if required
