Purpose of the job
- Lead and manage projects using recognized best practices, frameworks, and methodologies (including Agile and traditional approaches where appropriate).
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while achieving expected business outcomes.
- Translate client requirements into clear project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage Drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure successful project and product delivery.
Main Responsibilities
Project & Financial Management
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure a minimum of 25% profitability target is achieved for each project.
- Prepare, manage, and track budgets, forecasts, and project financials.
- Manage vendor and partner contracts where applicable.
Agile & Operational Delivery
- Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) and ensure Agile practices are embedded across projects.
- Implement hybrid or Agile project management techniques to improve delivery speed, transparency, and adaptability.
- Analyse and diagnose clients’ problem areas and provide strategic, actionable recommendations.
- Ensure solutions balance best practices with tailored approaches to meet client requirements.
- Oversee product/system implementation and monitor project KPIs against agreed milestones.
- Develop and maintain clear, actionable reporting dashboards highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct data‑driven analyses to address operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
Customer & Stakeholder Experience
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Produce high‑quality management reports, presentations, and updates tailored to client and executive needs.
- Act as the main escalation point for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of proven project management experience in IT/technology‑driven environments.
- Professional certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP), or Scrum Master.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent project planning, risk management, and resource allocation skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical jargon for non‑technical stakeholders.
- High‑level relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with strong business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours when required.
