We are recruiting for a part-time (minimum 50%) or full-time position, starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Supply Chain Management and related courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, all delivered fully in person in Munich
• Topics could include, but are not limited to Product Lifecycle Management, Sustainable and Circular Supply Chains, Supply Chain Risk and Resilience Management, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Analytics and Digitalization, and Global Value Chain Management
• Contributing to research in the field of Supply Chain Management
• Involvement in governance and committee work as well as institutional development

Our Requirements

• Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Commitment to high quality, up-to-date research in the field (demonstrated by either at least two peer-reviewed journal publications within the last five years or a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years)
• Relevant work experience in the area of Supply Chain Management or related
• International profile and teaching experience in English and German
• Experience and willingness to acquire national and international third-party funded projects in the fields of teaching and research are an advantage

All applicants must fulfill the formal requirements for the position of a professor in Bavaria including:

• Master degree and doctoral degree in a relevant field
• Professional experience of at least five years, three of which must have been gained outside a university
