Jobbeschreibung

Responsibilities

• Adaptation/modification of existing lifecycle solutions and implementation of new solutions according to the needs of naval defence customers (retrofit solutions, strategic spare parts stocking, trainings, digital offerings, etc.).
• Management of the entire go-to-market process for the defined solutions: from identification of needs and internal approvals and alignments to the implementation in our global organisations.
• Management of market data / intelligence to predict needs, resources and locations where future support will be required. Preparation of business cases to support decision making.
• Ownership of collecting specific demands from our global organisations, prioritising and ensuring that the responsible departments are working on solutions. Advocate the needs of naval defence customers within internal working groups (product centres).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security compliance guidelines and processes.
• Central point of contact for the regions and global organisations with specific operational naval defence requests.

Qualifications

• Degree in business engineering or comparable
• 3 years experience in a project / product management role
• Experience in defence industry / governmental procurement processes
• Good understanding of the lifecycle requirements of the end users
• English with good German capabilities
• Excellent communicator and good listener. Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and business partners.
• High degree of discretion
• Customer centric service minded and entrepreneurial
• Readiness to travel as required by business needs (5-15% of the time)
