Your Role

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the execution and operation of Biogents' digital products, including the MyBiogents Mobile App and our B2B Webshop. Working hand in hand with the Product Manager (UX), who defines the product vision and roadmap, you will drive implementation by managing the backlog, coordinating with external development partners, and ensuring high-quality technical delivery. This role bridges technology, user experience, and business needs — ensuring that our digital ecosystem evolves in line with Biogents' mission to provide sustainable, insecticide-free mosquito control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision, UX concepts, and stakeholder requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog for our digital solutions (MyBiogents Mobile App, B2B Webshop, and future platforms).
• Collaborate with external development teams: plan sprints, review deliverables, and validate outcomes.
• Provide technical input on feasibility, effort estimation, risks, and dependencies.
• Safeguard quality through clear acceptance criteria, structured testing, and effective bug tracking.
• Coordinate and document release cycles, ensuring smooth rollouts and communication.
• Monitor system performance, stability, and continuous improvements.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support) on technical product-related questions.

Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Computer Science, Digital Business, or a related field, or relevant practical experience.
• Initial experience in digital product development, e-commerce, or app projects (e.g., internships, working student roles).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a structured working style.
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, and digital infrastructures.
• Proactive communicator with the ability to align stakeholders and external partners.
• Fluent in English (German or French a plus).
• Bonus skills: familiarity with UX/UI tools (e.g., Figma), WordPress, Jira, or AI applications.
