As a Senior Procurement Project Manager & Consultant (f/m/d), you will drive procurement transformation and optimization initiatives by advising and co‑developing strategies to address both current and future challenges. You will oversee and coordinate selected projects, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver sustainable value. In your role as a Project Manager, you will plan, organize, and manage workstreams to achieve excellence, improve efficiency and foster sustainable growth for the business, while driving stakeholder management and satisfaction.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Advise and support the Procurement Leadership Team and Business Partners on process, data, and people‑related challenges and opportunities, while developing customised procurement solutions.
  • Develop strategies for continuous improvement of the procurement function and propose new initiatives that increase growth and maturity.
  • Set up and define project scope, staffing, and lead project teams while organising workstreams to meet deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and transformation programmes, supporting or executing respective project roles while evaluating their impact and progress in collaboration with top management.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement and manage internal and external communications.
  • Align with relevant interfaces for key decisions and ensure proper project evaluation and handover to daily operations.
What You Bring
  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Business Informatics or a related field with longstanding experience in project management or consultancy and an understanding of different methodologies / agile processes.
  • Deep knowledge of SCM/Procurement principles and markets.
  • Leadership in project management in a line/matrix set‑up and openness to diverse culture, ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills, emphasising a customer‑centric and value‑selling approach.
  • Problem‑solving, decision‑making skills, and the ability to develop concepts and analyse business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
