We are looking to hire a Pick and Pack Manager.
This position oversees the Pick & Pack department, manages and supervises the work of all employees within the department, provides vision and clear expectation to all team members, handles successionplanning for all employees as well as holding team members accountable.
From an operational standpoint, this individual willtake ownership of the operations by taking full responsibility of anythingwithin the department, ensure that all carts are filled accurately and timelydelivering a high quality according to client’s requirements; foresee needs orproblems that may arise and have action plans in place to avoid productiondisruptions; communicate stock item needs to warehouse and place supply ordersas needed.
Safety is the responsibility of all employees atNewrest. Therefore, this position ensures that all processes conform to thecustomer and Newrest specifications. This individual will also complywith food safety protocol, enforce safety process, and investigative andcomplete incident/accident documentation.
This position also holds the following HR-related responsibilities: interview and determine the individualsto join your department, approve time off requests and other leaves ofabsences, perform performance reviews for all department team members, approveall timecards and resolve timecard discrepancies, mentor and coach team membersand provide corrective actions as required regular and timely attendance.
