Your role

• Clinical care within inpatient and outpatient care at the Neurology Department of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg.
• Recruitment of patients for the cohort study of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson's disease (NCER-PD).
• Setup and optimisation of workflows for patient recruitment.
• Active participation in clinical studies for improved diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
• Execution of scientific projects with national and international collaboration partners on research projects.
• Perform clinical testing and neurological examinations.
• Apply tests for assessing functions in different neurological disorders.
• Teach students about clinical and research aspects of neurodegenerative disorders.
• Present at public events for information of lay public or medical professionals (www.parkinsonnet.lu).
• Present research results at national and international scientific meetings.
• Write and contribute to scientific publications and research grant applications.

Your profile

• Medical degree (MD) recognized in Luxembourg and interest in specialisation training in Neurology.
• Interest in clinical research on neurodegeneration.
• Independent, highly motivated and committed.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Fluent spoken and written French and/or German, proficiency in English, and willingness to generally improve fluency in languages.
• Good computer skills for standard software (Excel, Word, etc.).
