As a Paint Shop Mechanic, your main responsibilities include:

• Prepare the surface of aircraft sections, components and parts as well as to apply primer and topcoat;
• Prepare and paint ground support equipment;
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures;
• Perform all work in a safe and timely manner;
• Install sealant, erosion tape and stickers on aircraft and aircraft components;

Essential Requirements

• Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship (DAP / CATP) in car body repair or paint (or equivalent);
• At least 1-3 years of experience in spray painting;
• Experience in painting fiber glass and composite material is an advantage;
• Able to work in a team and show initiative in solving problems;
• Able to work at height;
• Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language is considered as an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Luxembourg (Monday-Friday; early and late shift);
• The position holder works in the shop environment;
• Occasional flexibility outside the normal working schedule may be asked (within Luxembourg law and Collective Work Agreement regulations);
• Occasional travel will be remunerated in accordance with Collective Work Agreement;
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection;
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment;
• The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965 / 2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment;
• The internal title would be "Mechanic Paint Shop". The level of the position depends on the experience of the selected candidate.
