Responsibilities
- Support the PA & QA policies for all elements of projects, in compliance with the customer's Product Assurance and Safety policy.
- Implement plans, define inputs, outputs, participants, responsibilities, interfaces, coordinate efforts of participants, and produce resulting consolidated inputs.
- Define and maintain PA & QA procedures in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the relevant processes in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure that the baseline definition of the System Requirement Document (including management of Change Requests, Change Proposals, Requests for Waiver / Deviation, preparation of Change Control Board meetings, etc.) is properly defined and controlled in its evolutions.
- Organise and support the Anomalies Review Boards (ARB) and Non-conformances Review Boards (NRB).
- Analyse and report on QA critical issues, proposing and following up preventive and recovery actions.
- Support the definition and regular monitoring of established metrics on the main processes within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Attending progress meetings as relevant and identifying areas of concern pertaining to QA.
- Review (and contribute to as required), from a QA perspective, the documents produced by the team.
- Organise project reviews related in the assigned area of responsibility according to the prescribed processes, also acting as Review Secretary as required.
- Support QA audits as required.
- Provide QA consultancy for the implementation of Configuration Management processes in the assigned area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in space systems activities, with focus on System Integration and Validation; Maintenance activities; Software development activities.
- At least 2 years of continuous experience in project Quality Assurance positions.
- Good knowledge of ISO standards and ECSS standards.
- Hands-on experience in QA processes definition, implementation, monitoring and control.
- Hands-on experience in risks management and lessons learned processes.
- Experience in a rational application of international quality standards.
- Hands-on experience in managing, reporting and following-up of procured items.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools, DOORS.
- Experience of working on collaborative programs between different partners.
- Proven experience in a service desk or technical support role, preferably related to IPR and software licensing.
- Strong understanding of Intellectual Property Rights and software licensing management.
- Relevant certifications in IPR or software licensing are a plus.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good interpersonal skills; very good attitude to teamwork.
