Job Description

We are recruiting Order Pickers for a large supermarket logistics operation in Germany. The company specialises in home delivery of groceries and household products. Candidates will work in modern warehouses assigned to different temperature-controlled departments depending on operational needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders using a handheld scanner
• Collecting items with a manual trolley
• Placing products into baskets according to order specifications
• Quality control
• Shelf replenishment
• Warehouse organisation and cleaning tasks
• Labelling
• Folding cartons
• Other general warehouse duties

Work Departments

• Dry Goods: Ambient temperature
• Chilled: 3°C (equipment provided: jacket and gloves)
• Frozen: -18°C (only retrieving products; gloves provided)

Requirements

• CV in English
• English or German at A2 level (mandatory for interview)
• Physical fitness and ability to walk/stand for long periods
• No mobility issues or chronic pain
• Ability to work with multiple nationalities
• Willingness to stay long-term in Germany
• Long trousers required at the workplace
• Driver’s license required

Conditions

• Guaranteed 151 hours/month
• Average workload: 173 hours/month
• Accommodation: €91/week (houses or hotels)
• 3 meals per day provided on working days
• Monthly salary payments

Additional Allowances

• 25% extra: night shifts (23:00–06:00)
• 50% extra: Sundays
• 100% extra: public holidays
• Saturday is a regular working day (no allowance)
