Job Description

We are recruiting Order Pickers for a large supermarket logistics operation in Germany. The company specialises in home delivery of groceries and household products. Candidates will work in modern warehouses assigned to different temperature-controlled departments depending on operational needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders using a handheld scanner
• Collecting items with a manual trolley
• Placing products into baskets according to order specifications
• Quality control
• Shelf replenishment
• Warehouse organisation and cleaning tasks
• Labelling
• Folding cartons
• Other general warehouse duties

Work Departments

• Dry Goods : Ambient temperature
• Chilled : 3C (equipment provided : jacket and gloves)
• Frozen : -18C (only retrieving products; gloves provided)

Requirements

• CV in English
• English or German at A2 level (mandatory for interview)
• Physical fitness and ability to walk / stand for long periods
• No mobility issues or chronic pain
• Ability to work with multiple nationalities
• Willingness to stay long-term in Germany
• Long trousers required at the workplace
• Drivers license required

Conditions

Hourly rate : 14.53 gross

Guaranteed 151 hours / month

Average workload : 173 hours / month

Accommodation : 91 / week (houses or hotels)

3 meals per day provided on working days

• 50% extra : Sundays
• 100% extra : public holidays

Saturday is a regular working day (no allowance)
