A leading offshore services provider is seeking an Offshore Works Coordinator for a project based offshore at the NSC-A Windfarm OSS. Certifications including GWO Training and a valid medical certificate for offshore work are required, alongside excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifikationen

Overview

Offshore Works Coordinator - OSS

Period: 23/03/2026 to 30/08/2026

Location: Role will be based offshore at the NSC-A Windfarm OSS. Base Port will be Eemshaven or Emden (Heliport).

Rotations: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Responsibilities
  • Act as the SPOC for logistic planning and crew changes handled from Offshore.
  • Collect demand of Contractors and align with the onshore logistics team and MCC.
  • Support for manifesting between OSS and JUB.
  • Ensure that all requirements for cargo movement are fulfilled (lifting plans in place, correct marking, supervision).
  • Work closely with the Offshore Construction Manager and support/deputise as necessary.
  • Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other discussions, and align/escalate topics to the Offshore Site Management as needed.
  • Ensure that specific tasks are completed safely, on time, and with due consideration to project requirements (RAMS) for the assigned scope of work.
  • Review and understand the Project’s HSE Plan, including the Emergency Response Plan, and ensure Contractor adheres to HSE requirements.
  • Review health and safety documents as required before the execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
  • Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) including progress of the works, mechanical breakdown, weather downtime, etc., and ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties (as appropriate).
  • Support the prioritisation and coordination of works, including coordination of required resources and communication of requirements to the Offshore Site Management Team.
  • Ensure Contractor compliance with technical/operational requirements and that works are executed safely and to the required quality.
  • Monitor Safety Observations Cards (SOCs) during daily meetings and ensure they are recorded within the DPR; highlight any notable concerns to Offshore Site Management and the HSE team.
  • Be present as a witness during installation during all defined key activities and as often as practicable otherwise.
  • Where the HSE Team is unable to attend any asset, vessel or location, carry out planned HS&E inspections on their behalf.
  • Participate in safety walks with health and safety representatives from the Project Company and Contractor. Identify and report any safety-related observations daily while performing primary duties.
  • In the event of incident/accident, take detailed notes, timeline, pictures, and generally gather information to support investigations. The Contractor will usually lead on investigation, but it is helpful for the Project Company to have its own information available.
  • Where necessary, act on behalf of the Packages Quality Manager and participate in walkdowns, progress monitoring, identification of non-conformance and witnessing in accordance with the project Quality Management Plan and Contractor ITPs.
Certifications
  • GWO Training: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
  • Current valid medical certificate and exams for offshore work according to legal requirements.
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet).
  • Optional: Experience in drafting DPRs.
  • Experience using inspection/auditing software in a construction environment (desirable).
Skills & Experience
  • The Client Representative offshore shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of similar services in offshore renewable industry.
  • Working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with an understanding of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime, etc.
  • Profound understanding of offshore operations, in particular offshore lifting operations, offshore substation installation & commissioning works, DP2 and/or jack-up vessel operations.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and observe (offshore) operations to ensure they are carried out according to contractual requirements (e.g., reasonable endeavours clauses).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including IMO & IMCA guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English.
